Emergencies & Alarms
Lift stations move sewage from lower elevations to higher elevations, but emergencies can occur, such as power failures, pump failures, high water levels, and control panel failures. To prevent environmental hazards, lift stations have alarms and monitoring systems that detect these emergencies and alert operators to take corrective action. The control panel connected to any sewage pump system will have a visual and audible alarm. In plain terms, when the alarm signals from the pump system, it means something is not right. Common alarms include high-water alarms, power failure alarms, pump failure alarms, and control panel alarms. Regular maintenance is essential to keep these systems functioning properly.
Please call as soon as possible to have the pump system diagnosed. A delay in a remedy can cause catastrophic damage.
We are prepared for emergencies with the ability to pump out the basin when your pump is not functioning. If your pump needs to be pulled for diagnosis a loaner pump will be provided. We stock E/One pumps, panels and accessories as well as other manufacturers pumps and accessories.
